Tampa Bay Buccaneers news: New York Jets star Sauce Gardner isn’t only one of the top cornerbacks in the game today. The 23-year-old has also emerged as a faux player-GM as he’s endowed himself with the title of “LeSauce GM.”
Gardner recently asked for some assistance from social media as he planned out New York’s big moves in the offseason. Apparently, one player that he appears to have a keen eye on is Mike Evans of the Bucs.
Sauce Gardner Attempts to Recruit Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans
Gardner already said that he expects Aaron Rodgers to “ shock the world” in his comeback season. Naturally, the four-time MVP will need weapons around him to do this.
In Gardner’s mind, Evans would be a great fit for the Jets. So much so, that Sauce did his best to try and recruit the five-time Pro Bowler to New York:

The message was pretty cryptic and there wasn’t any direct recruitment attempt, so this won’t warrant a tampering fine from the league. Nevertheless, it’s hard to deny what Sauce was trying to do here.
Mike Evans’ Teammate Claps Back at Sauce
Gardner was probably waiting for a response from Evans, who is expected to enter free agency this summer. However, it was Bucs running back Rachaad White who decided to clap back at the Jets star. According to White, there’s no way Evans is heading to New York:
Mike who u ain’t getting Mike 1️⃣3️⃣ twin can’t even go like dat 💯 https://t.co/QdIkgSEROb

At this point, however, anything can happen. Until Evans signs on the dotted line — with whatever team that might be — his future remains very wide open.
