Packers Officially Show Interest In Champion Safety Amid Jeff Hafley’s Announcement

The Green Bay Packers will likely spend much of their off-season focusing on the defensive side of the ball. The completely revamped defensive coaching staff will look for “their guys” to add to the defense.  As it turns out, they have already started that process.  The team has already shown interest in one Safety who knows what it takes to win a championship.

The Green Bay Packers Show Interest In Champion Safety Amid New Defensive Mindset

According to reporter MJ Hurley:

Per Lily Zhao of Fox Sports 6:

What does Jeff Hafley want in a post safety?

“I want a guy who can erase things.”

Wants his player to eliminate explosive plays, get guys down, go “sideline to sideline and take the ball away”, communicate and play man.

The Packers will certainly be looking to add to the Safety position and that became obvious the moment Hafley walked into the building.
