‘Just shut up!’ Cam Newton has a STRONG message for CeeDee Lamb’s mother following controversial Dak Prescott criticism

The Dallas Cowboys’ Wild Card loss to the Green Bay Packers stung their players and fans alike. Dak Prescott and company had a terrific regular season, but failed to win in the playoffs, again. Prescott, especially had an MVP season, but once again faltered in the Wild Card game as he wasn’t anywhere near his best during the game.

'Just shut up!' Cam Newton has a STRONG message for CeeDee Lamb’s mother following controversial Dak Prescott criticism

He and the team’s star receiver Ceedee Lamb were off from the get go and that resulted in them not getting anything going on offense. After the game, Lamb’s mother slammed Prescott on Twitter and suggested her son should seek a trade away from Dallas.

In response, former NFL quarterback Cam Newton stressed that player disputes should remain within the team and cautioned against voicing such complaints on social media.

Newton said on his podcast:

Listen here mama, baby, I know everything that we think, we don’t need to sayI didn’t even really want to talk about this because you know, Dallas situation, Cowboy. This is real spill for anybody in the NFL, college sports, it don’t matter as a whole… I say this respectfully. Just shut up. Just shut up. Because it’s not gonna do any good. … you’re gonna bring more trouble. Cam Newton said

If the quarterback and his primary wide receiver don’t get along, the Cowboys won’t win the Super Bowl. In that sense, Cam Newton—who played for the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50—is absolutely spot on.

Dak Prescott’s brother wants him out of Dallas after yet another disappointing end to the season

The Dallas Cowboys’ faithful expect to win championships. It is one of the most storied organizations in all of sports and, hence, every season is championship or bust for them. However, they haven’t won a Super Bowl since the mid-90s and their wait extended after yet another early exit from the postseason this year.

After their loss to the Green Bay Packers, a large section of the crowd, including WR Ceedee Lamb’s mother blamed Prescott for the team’s failure. However, his brother, Tad Prescott came to his defense and claimed that even he wanted Dak to get out of Dallas.

Tad Prescott tweeted:

Cowboy fans why continue to DM me TRUST ME, if I could get @dak to leave Dallas I wouldI too want him out of Dallas. The city and organization have been great to he and our family, but done with drama and the so called fans, but he loves this team, and wants to bring it rings. Tad Prescott on X

Dallas finished 12-5 and won the NFC East, but they were humiliated by the Packers at home in the Wild Card game of the playoffs, losing 48-32.
