Eagles Pro Bowl wideout A.J. Brown made a surprise call to the Philadelphia-based 94 WIP radio station on Friday.
Brown discussed a host of topics, including a post that was made to his X account (formerly known as Twitter) this week, which called out the media in the City of Brotherly Love. Fans and analysts spent hours on Thursday trying to figure out whether the message was written by Brown.
Thursday’s viral post came after multiple messages were written earlier in February after his account had been hacked.
Brown cleared things up on Friday.
"Whatever weekend it was, somebody did hack my Twitter account. I got my Twitter account back.
"Last night, that was totally me."

The 26-year-old had a solid 2023 regular season, posting career highs in receptions (106) and targets (158) while racking up 1,456 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as well. Brown missed the team’s NFC wild-card playoff loss to the Tampa Buccaneers though, due to a sprained knee.
The Mississippi product’s campaign was filled with peaks and valleys, as all of his touchdowns came between Weeks 4 and 12 and he posted at least 125 receiving yards in six consecutive games from Weeks 3-8. Brown only had one 100-yard game in the other 11 contests and finished with under 40 receiving in four different weeks.
His inconsistent production and the swirling trade rumors combined to make for a headline-filled season for No. 11, and not always for the right reason.
For the second straight regular season, Philadelphia struggled down the stretch before ultimately losing in the playoffs as well.
Following a 14-3 campaign in 2022, the Eagles fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. Philadelphia began 2023 at 5-0 and 10-1 yet finished the year by dropping five of their final six entering the tournament.
Brown talked about the end-of-season woes on Friday, as well as his future with the organization.
"I just wanted to let Philly know I love 'em and everybody who's making up rumors, hey you need to find another job, man.

A.J. Brown told WIP he feels he's misunderstood as a player and person, which is frustrating to him. He says he's not a diva, and it's actually the other way around.
He implies sidelines frustrations are about holding teammates accountable. @KYWNewsradio

"I'm the person you need on this team because I am willing to hold people accountable, make people around me better. But nobody sees that. All you see is the little flare ups…Nobody in that building works harder than me, I can stand on that and say that."
