Draymond Green Made Golden State Warriors History Against Knicks

On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors  are hosting Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks in California.

Draymond Green made team history by becoming the third  player to appear in 800 regular season games.

Green came into the evening with averages of 9.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per contest while shooting 49.5% from the field and 41.4% from the three-point range in 41 games.

The Warriors are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 35-31 record in 66 games.

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 128-121.

Green had six points, 12 rebounds, 13 assists and one steal while shooting 3/6 from the field and 0/2 from the three-point range in 34 minutes of playing time.

Following the Knicks, the Warriors will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.

Green was the 35th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Michigan State and is one of the best second-round picks in league history.

He is a four-time NBA Champion and has career averages of 8.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 45.1% from the field and 31.9% from the three-point range.

The 2017 Defensive Player of The Year has also appeared in 157 NBA playoff games.
