The Washington Commanders have reportedly announced that they have re-signed their defensive end, Efe Obada; however, the terms of the deal have not been assigned as of yet.

Washington Commanders re-sign DE Efe Obada

Obada played with Carolina Panthers from 2017 to 2020 and then Buffalo Bills in 2021. After the Bills squad, he went on to join the Washington Commanders and was impressive in his performance.

In the 2022 campaign, he played in seventeen games and registered 24 tackles and four sacks. However, unfortunately, last season, Obada suffered multiple injuries, which derailed his season.

His last season began on the injured list as he had sustained a knee injury. In Week 11, Obada was taken off the field with support as he had suffered multiple leg fractures. Subsequently, he was placed on injured reserve and participated in five games as per Pro Football Talk.

The defensive end began his journey in 2014 and played for London Warriors, an American football club based in Thornton Heath, London, England. His first team was the Dallas Cowboys and he entered the league through a coach’s recommendation. He was also involved with the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs for a short time as well.
