Another A.J. Brown Fake Tweet Sends Eagles Media Into Frenzy

It seems this offseason will never end for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Not even a full day after FS1 Host Craig Carton teased a rumor about the Eagles locker room drama in 2023 and celebrated reporter Derrick Gunn stated that there were concerns regarding both head coach Nick Sirianni and quarterback Jalen Hurts, it seems the media is looking for one more player to talk about: All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown.

Another A.J. Brown Fake Tweet Sends Eagles Media Into Frenzy

Brown had seemingly shut down his social media accounts midway through January to get away from the circus of it all but his account recently sent off a series of tweets during Super Bowl LVIII, most notably in response to Kansas City Chiefs tight end pushing coach Andy Reid. Eagles cornerback Darius Slay later tweeted that Brown reached out and told him he wasn’t the one sending out those tweets.

Now, the same account has gone as far as to criticize the media in Philadelphia as a whole.

“Philly media is so lame,” the tweet said. “It’s literally something everyday. Then the fans be believe the bs. They really should start raising the prices of microphones and cameras because you people will say anything for views. I see why nobody likes us because we don’t even like us.”

It’s important to add that Brown was seemingly hacked as far back during the Super Bowl when the same account tweeted out “This is a fake AJ brown page. I’m just a fan. I’m not trying to get him in trouble with what I say lol.”

That hasn’t stopped the Philadelphia media from speculating if the fake account is in fact, the former Titans receiver.

It takes you about five seconds when scrolling through the fake Twitter account to realize that it is in fact, not Brown.

Apparently, discussing Carton, Sirianni, and Hurts isn’t enough for the media in the City of Brotherly Love, though.

It also doesn’t help the “media’s” case that Brown reportedly went to Instagram to comment on the situation and seemingly agreed with what the anonymous tweeter was saying.
