John Mayer is “annoyed” that Scheana Shay keeps hinting that they once hooked up, according to a new report.

A source told the U.S. Sun that the singer has never been involved with the reality star, despite her not-so-cryptic comments during a recent episode of “Vanderpump Rules.”

“John has told several people close to him that he never hooked up with Scheana,” an insider told the outlet earlier this week.

“He knows that she has been telling people they hooked up well before the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ episode aired and it’s gotten back to him,” they added.

“He’s very annoyed by the entire thing and wants nothing to do with her.”

The source also alleged that the “Gravity” hitmaker, 46, did “his best to avoid” Shay, 38, when they attended the same party recently.

“She was trying her best to talk to John and even go as far as take a picture with him, but he shot her down,” the insider alleged.

Page Six reached out to reps for Mayer for comment.

Shay hinted earlier this month that she was once in an orgy with the Grammy winner during a game of “Never Have I Ever” with her castmates.

“It was with an A-list celebrity,” she claimed.

The Bravolebrity also spoke about her alleged past dalliance with Mayer during a 2020 episode of the “Flashbacks” podcast.

“I’m working this party. I end up getting wasted with them,” she explained, referencing the first time she met the singer and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, whom he dated from 2008 to 2009. “Every time they did a shot, they would get me a shot.”

After he split from the “Friends” actress, the SUR server claimed she began seeing Mayer.

“I was living with [‘The Hills’ alum Stacie Adams] at the time,” she recalled. “This went on for about six months. … It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on.“

While Mayer is still single, the “Good As Gold” songstress found love with her husband, Brock Davies, whom she married in 2021. They welcomed daughter Summer Moon the same year.
