1 Question for every Dallas Mavericks player as countdown to NBA Playoffs begins

With only 12 games remaining in the regular season, the Dallas Mavericks are 41-29 on the year after their win against the Utah Jazz on Thursday night.

The biggest questions the Mavericks need to answer this season - Mavs Moneyball

The Mavs have been playing at an elite level over the last few weeks, and it doesn’t seem like anyone wants to see this team in the first round of the playoffs. Dallas is showing they are scary contenders in the Western Conference every single game, and they were even ruled as a “nightmare matchup” for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the playoffs.

Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have turned into one of the NBA’s best duos, and when their offense is rolling, no one can stop them.

1 Question for every Dallas Mavericks player as countdown to NBA Playoffs begins

While the Mavs are playing excellent basketball, there are always questions about the squad and if they can carry the momentum into the playoffs.

Winning at this time of year is not easy to do, and if the Mavs can keep it up, they could be a team that makes an NBA Finals run. Here is one question for every Dallas Mavericks player as the countdown to the 2024 NBA Playoffs begins.

Can Dante Exum stay healthy?

The 2023-24 season has been game-changing for Dante Exum as he has proved that he belongs in the NBA after spending multiple seasons overseas.

This season for the Dallas Mavericks, Exum is averaging 8.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 0.5 steals per game while shooting 55 percent from the field and an excellent 50 percent from 3-point range. Exum has excelled both as a starter and off the bench, but his biggest question mark is his health.

Exum has missed significant time with injuries this season, and him staying healthy is crucial for the Mavs as the playoffs will be here before we know it. He plays a vital role on both ends of the floor and has been one of the best shooters on the team.

If Exum can stay healthy, the Mavs will match up much better with any team in the league due to his versatility. If Exum misses more time, the Mavs’ road to the NBA Finals will be much tougher.
